Kirk Lindo: Story, Art, Publisher- I’m where the rubber hits the road. I take everything that my team helps me to create and then I put it all together, story, art, publishing, marketing, etc. I put the final touches on everything, draw it or write it and then get it ready for publication.
Kirk Lindo II: Story, Marketing & Promotion- My eldest son and the guy responsible for the new graphic novel. He was just a kid when I started publishing Luxura back in 1994, but through the years he’s come to know the characters as well as I have. It was because of a conversation with him back in October of 2009 that the seeds of the Sword of the Apocalypse graphic novel were started. He came up with most of the main elements of the story. He is the co-writer and my main collaborator on this project. His talents also spill over into music. He wrote and created our Theme Song for Sword of the Apocalypse. The best way to describe what he brings to the table is that he makes everything we do better. We run EVERYTHING through Kirk II. He takes a look at and then takes it to another level.
Kamron Lindo: Art assists, Concept art, Props, Costume Design & Creation. - My youngest son and at 16, a much better artist than his father! His most amazing talent is to create weapons and costumes that we use for reference in the graphic novel. Many of the cool guns, robots, ships or suits that you see were influenced, designed or created by him. He works right along side of me with some of the art. Check out the plane in the background of the RESCUEMAN RETURNS concept image. he did all the work on the plane in the background.
Paul Schleicher: Marketing & Managing Editor- He creates and implements ideas for us to get more readers and exposure. He coordinates our convention and store appearances and he organizes our marketing plans. He has an extensive background in the comics industry. He’s been a retailer, Managing Editor, Writer and his most recent gig was as Project Coordinator for The Fashion Police comic series. His keen eye and extensive knowledge of comics and the comic industry makes our marketing efforts more effective. In addition to his duties with us, he teaches a writing workshop in New York.
El Camino (Goose): Writer, Ink Assists, Concept Art, Digital Graphics, - Goose as we like to call him is our resident digital genius! We’ve worked together on several projects including the original concept designs of Rescueman’s Runner Units and vehicles. His program of choice is Adobe Illustrator and any time you see a cool looking logo from us it’s usually his hand that either made it to begin with or made it even better. He’s also responsible for all of our 3D graphics and animations. He also scripted several stories for some of the main characters in previous publications. If that’s not enough then he also is an incredibly comic artist. Check out the excellent inking and coloring he did on this Rescueman image. Check out his website to see more of his work.
