The First Edict: Sustain The Blood Source
Wild feeding frenzies are forbidden, the one thing that must be insured is the continuation of the human race for they are the only source of nourishment that mature vampires have.

The Second Edict: Regulate The Kith (Vampires)
Too many vampires will put a strain on the food source . No new vampires are to be made without the approval of the counsel of Ancients.

The Third Edict: Maintain Discretion
It is absolutely forbidden to openly expose the fact that you are a vampire. This is to avoid active mortal pursuit and destruction of vampires.

The Edicts were created by the Judicious Ancients. Any Kith or human that violates any of the three edicts will be destroyed. The policing entity of all vampires is the RED MILITIA.

THE JUDICIOUS
The major concerns of the modern, responsible, vampires are preserving the food source and controlling the vampire population.

THE  INSURGENTS
The major concerns of the modern, irresponsible, vampires are controlling the food source and increasing the vampire population.  The Ideal situation that this new breed of vampire wants is a world fully populated by vampires all of whom are enslaved to the vampires who breed and raise humans as live stock, placing them in control of the one resource that vampires need to survive.

 THE TRIHEXICON
A book with three volumes that possess knowledge of all of the evil, supernatural curses known to man.

VOLUME ONE:  BOOK OF  LAMIA
Deals with all of the curses which pervert the flesh including: plagues, diseases, vampires, werewolf, succubous, old age child birth and language.

VOLUME TWO: THE BOOK OF  EIDOLONS
Deals with all of the curses of the dead including zombies, ghosts, demons, poltergeist and ghouls.

VOLUME THREE:  THE BOOK OF QUIETUS
Deals extensively with how to kill supernatural creatures and undo all of the curses. Many of the pages of this book have been destroyed by the creatures whose destruction lies within the pages. Many pages are still in existence. Some very old witch and demon hunters have used the pages to train and prepare a new generation of vampire and witch hunters.
